Got the new Norton Core. Am I supposed to install Norton on my iPhone as well as the Mac?

I just set up my Norton Core, including installation of Norton on my Mac Mini. After installing Norton, I get a Norton advising that I can install Norton on other "devices." Are they saying I can install Norton on my iPhones?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.3

Sorry, you didn't mention it was hardware. Guess that you will need. Forgive my ignorance. 😁 When you refer to the product as "Norton" that implies software which is what I thought it was.

There is no requirement for installing a router on anything but with the modem provided by your cable company. Then you can connect your hardware either using Ethernet cable or wireless. Your phones will need to be configured to use router's Wi-Fi for connections. Your computers can use wired or wireless.

You should not be required to install any software, but if you do then you will need separate software for the iDevices. The computer software will not work on your phones.

My apologies. I didn't think I'd have to say that Norton Core is Symantec's new wireless router...

As the Norton Anti-Virus Software has been around for many years (and has developed a bad reputation on Macs), and the Norton Core router has only just been introduced, it's hardly surprising that anyone seeing your original post would assume that the software was the subject of discussion. There's no reason why, unlike the software, the router should react badly with Macs.
