See the biggest videos in Photos for Mac?

Is it possible to see the videos that are taking up the most space without having to go to each item and click "Get Info"? Like, say, putting them all in a list, biggest first.User uploaded file

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

It would be even more important to be able to search with a smart album by the pixel size than by the file size. We can neither search by width nor by height, nor by aspect ratio.

That is why am using PowerPhotos, to see photos in list view, sorted by columns.

And I am using Apple script a lot to search my Photos Library.

To find the photos within a size range, run this script twice - once with the upper bound of the size, then again on the album with the smaller items and the lower bound for the size:

Script: How to find videos and photos in your Photos Library larger or smaller than a given file size

You "SHOULD" be able to make a smart album using size... but you can't. at least not that I can find as of High Sierra (10.13.1). You could in iPhoto and Aperture YEARS ago. It's not like this data isn't available (as clearly it is there to populate the Info window), but clearly it isn't a priority for Apple. Maybe because they want you to buy more iCloud storage... or more likely, because the Mac just isn't a priority for Apple anymore... ok I'll stop before I rant further. Really only saying something because your answer was marked helpful, and I just wanted to make sure no one is confused.

It's quite easy if you use the free version of PowerPhotos. Here's how:

1 - launch PowerPhotos and open your Photos library.

2 - in the toolbar at the top select the list view.

3 - in the View ➙ Show Columns select Size:

User uploaded file

4 - click on the Size column to sort sizes with the largest at the top to get this:

User uploaded file

Control (right) - click on image and select Open Link in New Window to view full sized version.

Hi DarkHerobrine21:

Try downloading and installing OmniDiskSweeper: OmniDiskSweeper

OmniDiskSweeper will sort your files by size and show you where they are located. This should allow you to determine exactly what you have on your MBP.

You may also be able to move some of these larger files such as videos, etc. to an external drive to free up space on your startup drive.

OmniDiskSweeper does not delete or change anything by itself. Just displays information. Make sure you know what effect the files you are deleting will have on your computer.

[Edit] Sorry this will not show the size of files in Photos as they are all inside the Photos library.
