Logic X Notation

I wonder nobody mentioned but the step input notation with Logic is very problematic. Many times it doesn't show the correct length I insert... (Instead of 32h note shows 16triplets, or I play a triplet note and it shows an 8th, etc)... Telling the truth I just hate work with Logic's notation.

Hi

Particularly when Step -Entering notes in the Score, you need to pay attention to 2 separate parameters:

A) Interpretation.

This attempts to tidy up the look of the notation by removing unlikely rests, and tweaking the display of the note length to something simple where possible. If you are step-entering the notes, the lengths will be exactly correct, so generally you should turn Interpretation OFF

Interpretation OFF with correct note lengths

B) The Score Quantisation parameter only affects the notation display, and sets the smallest note or rest that will be displayed. To correctly display 32 notes, you need to set the score Q to 32
