On my iPhone 6 I keep getting a popup "Sign-In Required Enter the password for myemail.net" I don't trust the popup so I go to settings and enter the email password there. It verifies it and accepts it. Later I start getting the popups again. My email is working. Thanks

Today I put in a fake password and it failed but it said either my Apple ID or password was wrong. This is different from what it was telling me about entering the email password which is different than my Apple ID password. I did what you said and logged out of the phone and logged back in. So far no more popups. Thanks.
If it's not then it will be something like that on the phone wanting to get to something online that is asking for your password. Try going settings your name and signing out and back in.

Is this the email account that the phone is requested to?
So there is a app updat etc, this is why it’s asking for you to confirm you password.
