BBC iPlayer radio on iMac
I've got the 'BBC iPlayer radio' app on my iPad but it doesn't seem to be available for my iMac desktop (Sierra 10.12.6).
Why would this be please?

There is no iPlayer app for Macs. The links quoted above refer to iOS. According to this BBC page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/troubleshooting/web/supportedbrowsers_OS
the iPlayer should work in Safari on Sierra: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer
BBC are constantly changing their association with the net and Apple. Just picked up this note on a Google page. It may explain.
****1. How do changes to the BBC iPlayer Radio app ... - BBC iPlayer Help iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/radio/v1_closure,
Any new updates of the BBC iPlayer Radio app from the Apple App Store will only work with iOS 9.3 and above. We recommend you update your device to iOS 9.3 or above.
Okay. Had it been clickable it would have shown in blue.
I have found the original article that talks about the latest set of changes. This one is clickable.

It appears you won't be able to use it with Sierra.
Sorry I don't fully understand Seventy One. Is that supposed to be a clickable link?
Also, I'm running 10.12.6
Thank you Seventy One
