Recover photos from a broke iPhone 6

Is there a way to recover photos from an iPhone 6 that will not power up? I suspect that the answer is no, but I thought I'd ask the question to others in case there is a way. My iPhone 6, which has never been dropped or damaged in any way, simply stopped working. It won't power up, it won't charge, it's just dead. I purchased a new iPhone 7 and restored it using the last backup from the iPhone 6; however, the more recent photos were not on that last backup. If it is at all possible, I'd like to recover those additional photos from the phone.

iPhone 6, iOS 10.3.3

Unfortunately, if you can't wake up your old iphone (I'm sure you've already checked battery status and/or read steps in following articles If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on - Apple Support

and If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support) I have no suggestion for you.

But if you succeed in turning it back on, you can:

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
