Receiving error message 2894

I have tried to download itunes from the website. An error message pops up stating that installation cannot be completed error 2894. I have looked at other topics and questions but did not see anything related to that error message. I'm a new ipod user. I have the 5th generation video 30gb ipod. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Kiko1027

My son did have iTunes on this machine then it wouldn't update so uninstalled and then re-installed. Snag is we get this error now! So guys what is the fix??

WE are having the same problem. We had Itunes downloaded on our new computer that we just bought mid Jan. We had thousands of songs-it would not open! We uninstalled/reinstalled-but same error code 2894. We cannot access it all. It looks like alot of people are having this problem. We just need a solution!

Unbelievable that this error has lasted since 7th January... how do you get in touch with Apple Support?? is there a UK phone number??
