Font validation warning in Font Book

I have installed a font called Lucida Bright Math Symbol. Font Book is giving me this "yellow light" warning:

User uploaded file

The font does not appear in the font list within Text Edit or Pages. Primarily, I am trying to use a couple of symbols from the font in a music notation program called Finale.

I'm pretty confident that the font itself is okay. Someone sent it to me, and it works fine in his Mac system.

I have tried "Resolve Duplicates", but there are nor duplicates.

I'd be very grateful for any help with this.

As per this article : Font Book for Mac: Validate fonts in Font Book

  1. Select a font, then choose File > Validate Font.
  2. In the Font Validation window, click the disclosure triangle next to a font to review it.A green icon indicates the font passed, a yellow icon indicates a warning, and a red icon indicates it failed.
  3. To resolve font warnings or errors, select the checkbox next to a font, then click Install Checked or Remove Checked.

Tip: To find warnings or errors in a long list of fonts, click the pop-up menu at the top-left corner of the Font Validation window, then choose Warnings and Errors.
