iPhone SE Bluetooth stuck on spinning icon

Hi, I have had a long standing issue with the Bluetooth on a brand new SE iPhone. The Bluetooth icon is a constantly spinning grey circle as opposed to the 'switch' icon and nothing I've done after reading various things on the net, has resolved it. It's currently been spinning for nearly 2 weeks, despite various resets and clearing of settings. If I swipe up from the bottom of the screen to turn it on / off it will go blue to indicate it's on and after 5/10 seconds will go grey again to indicate it's off. Typically about a month ago I went to an Apple Store and when showing the tech the issue it resolved itself (annoying) but it's not worked since.

Does anyone have an ideas on this please??

The point is it's faulty / something wrong to cause this non stop grey circle and not have the switch :) - I would like to be able to use Bluetooth to connect to speakers etc but I can't due to the issue - there are no Bluetooth enabled devices turned on anywhere in the vicinity.

It is working exactly as designed. If you have opened the Bluetooth settings screen, it will continue to search for (in this case) non-existing bluetooth devices. Again, if you have no device close by that you are trying to connect, why open the Bluetooth settings screen.

Tried it and it's no different

Photos attached of the other halfs iPhone, clearly showing the switch as it should be and the results of turning it on, it doesn't sit spinning grey circle

I would reset the phone by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears.

If that does not help, I suggest you take it back to the Apple store.

Yes, the Bluetooth will try to connect to something when you open, and leave open the Bluetooth settings screen. To what are you attempting to connect?
