Lost remote
I have lost the remote for my Apple TV (2 I think) and I see remotes on Amazon and ebay but I am not certain that any of them will work if the Apple TV is linked to a remote. Any suggestions?
Yes, if you get a replacement remote, you will be able to break the pairing with the lost remote.
Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on-screen.
