What do I charge my Powerbeats3 Wireless with?

I just bought Powerbeats3 Wireless today and I was wondering how much power should be used to charge it. For example, I charge my iPod 6 with a 5v adapter, whose power output is 1a, and my iPad with 2a. What kind of adapter do I use for my new earphones? I really want to make the batteries last long.

iPod touch, iOS 10.2

Hi deggie,

I think as a layman and consumer that Beats has supplied that cable with an intention.

It is always recommended to use the original accessories with a product, if you want to keep the warranty.

That's also what Apple wish from Apple Products users.

There are many fake cheap cables in the market.

And I did read the manual enclosed with my Power Beats 2 Wireless, before I use it.

I just Googled as an example Power Beats 2 Wireless manual for you, you can read Beats manual.

They supplied the cable because people expect it and on the Power Beats 2 it was the only one that would update it. The cable supplied with the Power Beats 3 is a "Universal USB-A to USB Micro-B" cable (their words). Any USB-A to USB Micro-B cable will charge it. The one I use is one I used with my Canon camera to transfer pictures to my computer. I used it to charge my Power Beats 2s and now use it with my Power Beats 3.

Apple certifies Lightning connector cables as Made for iPhone (MFi) but they do no certification of USB-A to USB-B or Micro-B cables. As long as one buys a decent cable from a good supplier they are fine. They have been around prior to the Beats headphones and as stated in their manual are a Universal cable. They (Beats) don't even sell a replacement one in Apple Stores.
