i sent a text to someone that maybe was in airplane mode traveling to vegas but my imessage doesnt say delivered i do t want to call but im wondering if they received it i dont want to keep sending the same message bc its not a very nice one

I believe the OP said the recipient was traveling, not them.

Like wise if you are Travelling and ur phone is in airplane mode you are not able to send SMS or even receive SMS via your cell phone during this airplane mode.

Actually you turn off your cell phone data

By putting your phone on sir plane mode and turning on wifi you can receive messages on non SMS over wifi for free.

If you have sent messages when you are at airport using wifi the messages can go through as ur cell is not in airplane mi

Unless you had a report that it wasn't delivered then it most likely was. If it went as a regular text you won't get a delivery receipt.
