How to silent camera sound in iphone 5s

To adjust the volume of the camera shutter sound, use the Ringer and Alerts volume slider in Settings > Sounds.

The camera shutter sound can also be muted using the Ring/Silent switch - check the position of the switch:

In some countries, muting of the camera shutter sound is disabled and this cannot be changed.

To silence the Camera shutter sound, you would put the iPhone in silent mode. To do so, use the Ring/Silent button. The switch will show orange when silent mode is activated.
