Hello, fellowes! Can someone pleas advise me how to reset Time Capsule completely to see it? Ordinary, when u push Reset button on the back side of TC settings (and passwords!) can be restored via PC Airport Utility - something like "Roll back to previous settings". Can someone advise me please how to reset the device completely?
Time Capsule 3TB MD033 -OTHER, 2011
Open AirPort Utility on your PC and select the Time Caspule
Click Manual Setup at the bottom of the window
Click the Disks tab at the top of the next window
Click Erase
Select the Zero Out Data option
Click Erase
The secure erase will take 3-5 hours on average, depending on how much data is on the Time Capsule hard drive
When the operation is done......
Click the Base Station menu at the top of the screen.....up where you see other menus like File, Window, Help, etc
Click Restore Default Settings
The operation will take a minute or two.
Now the Time Capsule disk is blank, and the Time Capsule has been returned to Factory Default Settings, just like it was when it was new.
How to reset Time Capsule settings completely to sell it?
