Best modem to replace Sky Q hub into Airport Extreme?

Hi, I have a Sky Q hub (router) and now have a new Airport Extreme.

After reading some articles I now realise that my Extreme is running in bridge mode. Which I guess is pointless as it's now jut sharing the Sky Q network.

I bought the Extreme to replace the Sky Q router element, but i cannot see where I can make the Sky router bridge to the Extreme. It will do it the other way round but that's pointless isn't it?

So, I guess I need a new modem. Can anyone suggest a good one that would match the Extreme in terms of speed etc? I guess it just needs to be a modem, and not a router at all?

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks

Your best bet is going to be asking Sky Support about a modem that would meet Sky's requirements, insuring compatibility with the Sky service.

While we could recommend any number of good modems, I think that you would agree that this information would be of little value if you find that the modems are not compatible with Sky's service, or Sky does not offer support for the modem.

It's possible that another Sky customer who is using another modem that works well with the service from Sky and an AirPort router might see this post and offer some recommendations as to whether it might be possible to configure the Sky modem/router to act only as a simple modem.......if you want to wait to see if anyone responds to your questions.

Good luck!
