iPhone 7 black white spots on back
I have a iPhone 7 Matt black and the back of my phone has white spots which will not disappear. Clearly this is a fault with the Matt black models does anyone know what I can do?

Hi
If the marks cannot be removed by cleaning your iPhone in accordance with Apple's cleaning instructions and you are concerned about a potential manufacturing defect, then contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to having your iPhone checked and, if recommended, serviced / replaced under warranty:

You'll see many posts on this site and others about the white spots and/or chipped paint. Even if a class-action law suit was filed against Apple one of only a couple of things would be awarded. A relatively small cash payment, a small credit to the Apple Store, or a free case to hide the marks. Even if Apple were to replace your phone with a new one the same thing would happen again as they only will exchange like for like. You wouldn't be able to trade a matte black for a different color. If you're that concerned, sell it and use the money to buy a different color.
There are already several threads about this issue. Apple won't replace an iPhone due to these type of marks, chipped paint, or scratches. Unless you happen to drive by an Apple store all the time, don't go out of your way to have this looked at. They will only tell you that cosmetic damage is not covered by the warranty.
This is considered cosmetic damage which Apple will not cover under the warranty. You'll need to just live with it or cover it with a case.
Usually i would probably agree with you but with the phone being 1month old and having a case from day one this has to be a product failure. Thank you for your response
You may not agree but the spots come from specks of dust getting trapped between the case and the device. Regardless of how long you have had it Apple will not replace it under warranty.
