Do I need a second Apple ID?

I recently activated a second iPhone for work. I want to keep everything separate from my personal phone. I was able to turn off most features via settings, but my call log and missed calls are still showing on both devices. Do I need a new Apple ID for the second phone to separate my calls/call logs?

You have the one case where I can justify two IDs. You want to be sure to keep them completely and totally separate. For example, instead of Joe.Smith twice, you might want to set one up as Joe.Business.Smith and the other as Joe.Personal.Smith.

You will definitely want a separate AppleID for iCloud, FaceTime and iMessage.

You could use the old AppleID for purchases on both so you can use purchased on both devices (especially if you don't want to setup any payment information with the new AppleID). Or set up Family Sharing with the current AppleID as the master and the new one you create as a member ID.
