Powerbeats 3 won't charge or turn on

My Powerbeats 3 will not turn on at all. I didn't get it wet or anything it just stopped working one day. All it does is blink red and white while connected to a power source, but won't actually charge. I tried resetting it by holding down the power button and the volume down button, but it still does not work.

I have had this problem with every bluetooth beats product I've had for the past couple of years. It ***** cause there are few headphones that match the powerbeats for working out. After going through the warranty process a couple of times and paying fees due to expired warranties, I recently decided to move to Bose. I was still ****** that I had a few unusable pairs of beats lying around due to the dead batteries. I did some research and apparently lithium batteries can benefit or be "boosted" by cold temperatures. I put 2 sets of dead beats (power beats wireless 3 + solo wireless 2) in the freezer for a couple of days and when I took them out they both started to blink. I plugged them in to charge them and they both charged to 100%. As I write this, I'm using the pair of power beats 3 that I didn't feel like paying the $115 repair fee to have replaced while only receiving a 90 day warranty. Now that the beats are working I kinda feel like I wasted my money on the Bose. I can't say that this is a true solution to this issue as its only been a few days, so I won't be returning the new ones. I know how frustrating this issue can be, hope this helps!

Hi antoniondelgado3,

I understand that you are having some issues with your Powerbeats 3 Wireless Earphones not powering on. I'm happy to provide some help with this issue.

First, make sure that when you reset them, you are holding these buttons down for a full 10 seconds:

Set up and use your Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones
Reset
  1. Hold down these buttons for 10 seconds:
    • Power button
    • Volume down button
  2. When the indicator light flashes, release the buttons. Your earphones are now reset and ready to be set up with your devices again.

If you continue to have this issue, you may contact Apple Support for additional help.

Same problem and the problem is not solved. Now I own an expensive product that stopped working within a couple of months. That is, together with 3 iPhone 6 with battery problems that didn't exist before, and a MacBook Pro also with hardware problems. Something to think about. Declining Apple. I do not recommend these products to anyone reading. Unsatisfied customer who paid too much for nothing.
