Hi,

Upgrade kits are available from different distributors
Never had that problem. I've used them for about 20 years and I support hundreds of Macs, they are knowledgable Mac specific outfit, they support everything they sell and they offer support by way of chat and videos for the better portion of their stock. For the most part the forums do not support what you just stated, I suspect if users are having overheating problems it's because they are doing something wrong.
I don't work for OWC, I don't get a cut of their sales, I don't even know anyone on staff there outside of whoever facilitates my sale. If you can support the claim OWC is selling problematic hardware I'd like to see it.
Thank you very much for your answer
You're welcome. 🙂
Thank you for your answer
you are welcome, sometimes responders cross post, but it's generally because were quick 🙂
OWC have bad reputation, at least I see lots of people complaining that they heat up which affects stability.
