Apple mail 4.6. Worked fine till ip made changes. Previously was able to veridy password by going directly to IP website to verify password for each email address. Can no longer check email setup online since changes were made.

IP is COMCAST. Downloaded instructions for changing email from POP to IMAP. They are changing to accommodate various devices. Now the servers to my several email addresses are off line. The only resolution I can think of is to visit their local office and ask them to restore the service to my POP accounts. I have upgraded to the latest Operating Systems that this laptop can tolerate.

Emailing worked beautifully before they began this change. Now my Apple Mail app is useless and,
using email directly from their website is extremely cumbersome in comparison.
