How much does it cost to repair a cracked screen for an iPhone 7 plus?
I've looked at the prices and it says $149 plus the shipping but when I went to pay it, it was almost $400

Apple's repair prices vary by country.
The price for an iPhone 7 Plus screen repair (if that is all that is required) in the US, for example, is currently $149 plus tax and, if required, shipping (or potentially less if you have previously purchased AppleCare+).
If your iPhone had damage that was not limited to the screen, then it may have instead required out-of-warranty service, for which the cost in the US, for example, is currently $349 plus tax and, if required, shipping.
