How can you downgrade from mac os high sierra to mac os sierra

Hi to whoever reads this

I have got a MacBook air 2015 model that has got mac os high sierra beta on it.

Now I got final cut pro lately and it wouldn't let me run it because I was on mac os high sierra beta version.

My question is:

How do I downgrade to mac os sierra easily and without losing any of my files.

Thanks,

Phil Grimley

"Downgrading" a Mac OS is the same regardless of its beta status.

Short version: Erase and repartition the drive then reinstall from the backup you made prior to installing the newer OS.

Longer version: macOS Sierra: Revert to a previous macOS version
