Connect phone to TV via "AnyCast" dongle

Hi there, my phone is my only source of internet and want to watch Youtubes on larger screen of TV

Have bought an AnyCast dongle and trying to connect following instructions but they are somewhat confusing. It seems to be connected but "Miracast" function is not happening

Can anyone please help

Cheers

Hello Rudegar thank you for your reply

Sorry, a friend also tried connecting with a Samsung phone and I had my terminology mixed up

"Mirocast" is for Android, "Airplay" is for iPhone

More information if it helps;

We took turns following the instructions that came with the dongle and also some that we found on the internet. His phone is a Samsung Galaxy and mine is an iPhone 6s Plus

Still wondering about this. I was not told anything about 3rd Party apps and as far as I know "Airplay" or "Mirocast" should work (depending on what type of phone you have)

I go through the steps that come with the AnyCast dongle and also one found online and everything seems to be working but it doesn't actually connect. What am I doing wrong?

I was wondering should I use WiFi or HotSpot?

Hope someone can help out, cheers
