permanently delete apps from my iphone 6 plus

My IPhone 6 plus is saying I am almost out of storage. I want to delete old apps that I don't use from my icloud account, or ITunes account. How do I delete them?

Apps are not stored on iCloud.

You can delete Apps from your iPhone directly by touching an app icon and holding it until they all start to shake.

When the are shaking you can press the User uploaded filein the corner to permanently remove the App from the device.

There is nowhere else you can delete Apps from to make space.
