My Mac stopped seeing my wifi printer after many years, so I added a new printer, it does not see it either. My macbook pro and Ipad sees them. Confirmed same network, updated software and firmware on Time machine.

I suspect that you need to reset the Mac's Printing System as described towards the bottom of the support article.

What Mac with what operating system?
Yosemite 10.10.5 on my Imac and a older MacBook Pro running El Capitan ver 10.11.6.
Neither of which are covered by this Leopard 10.5 forum.
