How can I remove the NowTV app, or maybe just the icon, from my MacBook Air? Thanks
I have put in the trash but the icon remains and nothing will remove it.

Your post is very confusing, as the Now TV page indicates that to use their services on a computer, the computer must run Windows.
So we'd need to know a whole lot more about exactly what you did to get into the state you're in, as a Mac running OS X or MacOS cannot support any Now TV app.
