Macbook Air 6.2 RAM Upgrade

I am new here, so I will make it short and to the point. I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) with a memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. I've been looking to upgrade the RAM to 8 GB but everything I read turns out to be confusing because of the possibilities.

So, does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade it?

The RAM on a MacBook Air isn’t upgradable, except when configuring one prior to purchase.
