Problem Regarding Earpods

Hello,

I'm an iPhone SE user and I recently had a problem regarding my earpods.

I bought the iphone last year and I have been using the earpods just as normal.

But last night, when I tried to listen to music the sound worked fine, and the microphone worked as well. But the remote buttons somehow didn't work.

I can press them, but they won't do anything like adjust the volume or resume/pause the music.

I tried to remove all the debris in my headphone jack, but the result is the same.

Any idea of how to solve this?

Have you already tried different earpods, perhaps asking a friend to borrow just for a test?

Depending on the result, you could need have your earpods or your headphone jack inspected.

You'd better check at nearest Apple Store if your earpod can be repaired or if you need to buy a new one.

Thanks for the reply,

I have tried my sister's earpods on my phone and it worked perfectly. I tried mine on my iPad and it still didn't work, while my sister's earpods did. I reckon there is something wrong with my earpod. Are there any ways to fix it or shall I buy another earpods?
