Dynamic invoice Apple numbers

I have found a dynamic invoice template someone has made for apple numbers on the mac, is there a way to make it work or convert it to make it work on the iPad?

That template was designed for an old version of Numbers on the Mac that uses a old file format that Numbers for iOS on your iPad can't open. You can update the format by opening it with the latest version of Numbers on the Mac and saving that in iCloud Drive. Then it should open correctly in Numbers for iOS on your iPad.

the guy that made this template is saved in US Dollars could you tell me how to change it to GBP please?

You need to select the cells with the US Dollars and reformat them to show GBP.

In iOS you select the cells, tap the "paintbrush" format icon, tap 'Format', choose 'Currency', tap the circled i, tap 'Currency' and choose 'British Pound' from the list.

On the Mac you select the cells, click the "paintbrush" format icon in the toolbar, choose the 'Cell' tab, then choose

'British Pound"from the dropdown list next to 'Currency'.

Hi there, here is the link to the guys video Dynamic Invoicing Template for Apple Numbers - YouTube and a link to his download page http://www.danlanglois.com/invoicing , i tried contacting the guy directly without success.

When i open it on my iPad air it doesn't seem to work, I'm praying someone will be able to make it work as it would be great for my business, also the guy as made it free to share which is good of him.

It was made a few about 5 years ago so maybe thats why it doesn't work.

Hi there, thanks for your help so far. I updated the files as you said, when i opened the files in numbers it asked me to update both of the files which i did, i then saved them. There wasn't a save to iCloud drive feature there was a move to iCloud drive option so i did that. I am in the UK the guy that made this template is saved in US Dollars could you tell me how to change it to GBP please?

I forgot to add, it now opens on the iPad, I place the file on the homescreen for quick access.

When I add customers details to the invoice will apple number create a database and add them to my iPad contacts or will it need to be configured?

I think that question is related more to how the specific template is designed to work than to Numbers in general. Perhaps the answer is in the video, etc.?
