7 8 9 u i o j k l m . keys won't work in my i mac user account on my new iMac but will work in test account. Just transferred accounts, files, applications, etc. from old iMac to new iMac.

Go to preferences,accessibility, then mouse and trackpad. Make sure to uncheck the box that says "Enable Mouse Keys".
