Correct working original charger but iPad will not charge. No damage. Working earlier today.

mine did that, cleaned the lighting port with a needle and a match from lint and it worked once more

Try a reboot press the power button down &menu button hold both down until you see apple logo this can take 30 seconds.
Then try changing again.

Check the cable by trying an alternate one. Can you also check the charger with a different device?
Did a hatd reset, seems to be working better.
I did. Still charging slowly. Hoping for the best.
