I need to look at some suspicious emails in my junk folder. Can I safely open them without risk or virus/malware as long as I don't click any links or open any attachments? Email account is Hotmail accessed via my mail app.

malware, virus, trojan, adware or the likes are software too you can't install them from websites, mails or sms messages
