Where can you find the year if your MacBook Air to determine which model it is? I am having trouble using a Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter to connect my HDTV and get sound to work even after checking sound setting for HDMI.

Click the "" and then click "About This Mac" then it should say the year your MacBook Air was made in along with all the specs
