iPhone SE 16GB space issues

I have an iphone se 16GB. It continually gets memory full error message. So I have deleted the majority of my apps. However, now, it still says the error from time to time, and there is always very little to no memory available (even after resetting the phone from an itunes backup).

Further, the phone now automatically deletes some app info (messages go missing, runs on exercise apps go missing, get logged out of whatsapp/facebook (login details taken away), simiar for other social media, etc.

When calculating the used memory amounts using the setup , it doesnt add up to the high value shown. Also, when connected to iTunes, it shows that there is more free.

Please help me figure out the best way to fix the phone.

You should be leaving, approx., a minimum of 2-3 GBs of free storage space for iOS nominal performance.

This is the problem with 16 GBs iDevices and why Apple, FINALLY, stopped offering them.

The effective usable free data storage space on a 16 GBs iDevice is only 9-10 GBs.

This can get used up fast if the 16 GBs iDevice has lots of apps, music and images on it!

One purchased iTunes movie can take up 3-4 GBs of free storage space, alone!

You need to see what is stored on your iPhone and thin out/delete what you can to recover, at least, 2 GBs of free storage space and maintain this reserve amount.

Good Luck to You!
