Caching server not working

Hi

Since returning from summer holidays into school, our iPads will not download iOS updates & Apps etc. Caching server is showing as unavailable and even when the service is stopped the apps etc still will not download.


Has anyone else experienced the same issue.


Mac OS 10.12.6

Server App version 5.3.1 (16S4128)

What do you mean "Caching server is showing as unavailable"? What error does the caching server report when it tries to register? (Look in /Library/Server/Caching/Logs/Debug.log.)


Also, "even when the service is stopped the apps etc still will not download" indicates that you have some other network issue, not just a caching server issue. Does your school's network block Apple services?
