Why wont my apple watch let me turn off wrist detection.

My apple watch wont let me turn off wrist detection. It asks for a passcode so i enter my phones passcode (My watch doesnt have one and yes ive put one on the watch to see if that was the issue and nothing works) and it just sits there until it times out. I have factory reset my watch and done the same things and same problem.

Apple Watch Series 2, watchOS 3.2.3

Hi

When prompted for a passcode on your Apple Watch, you need to enter your Apple Watch passcode, not your iPhone passcode.

If you are not able to turn off Wrist Detection and if a passcode requirement is enforced on your Apple Watch, then

passcode restrictions are likely enforced on your iPhone (via a corporate configuration profile, mobile device management or Exchange policy).

Where passcode restrictions are set on a managed iPhone, they also affect Apple Watch.

If your iPhone is managed in this way, contact your device administrator for further information and help.
