Can Time Machine back up multiple drive scenario?

I installed 2 drives for my iMac. The SSD is the boot drive. The normal HD is the data drive. Will time machine accommodate for this and backup my entire "environment"? Anything special I have to do?

Just make sure the second drive is NOT put in the exclusion list.

It does depend on if you setup as 2 separate drives or as fusion drive..

Open Time Machine preferences and ensure that the second drive is not there.

By default a second drive is likely to end up in the exclusion list.. If you remove it from the exclusion list then it is included.. sort of Apple version of reverse Polish notation.

Time Machine is designed to backup all of your Mac's internal drives and any drives attached externally to it. Both of the drives you indicate in your post should be backed up by Time Machine.
