Stylus won't stay attached
iPad Air 2 OS 10.3.3
I use a stylus that is tethered through headphone hole. Over time the hole has widened so the stylus falls out frequently. Any easy solutions? Thanks

Try going online to online retailer Amazon and see what they have for stylus cases or holders that can attach to other parts of the iPad, like the smart cover, sides or back case.
Are you a special needs user?
Can't use a Bluetooth stylus?
Never heard of a stylus that works using the headphone jack on an iPad.
OR is this just a way to just simply anchor a tether to hold a stylus in place?
If the headphone jack is getting looser, can you keep the stylus attached by taping it to the iPad in some fashion to keep it from coming out of the headphone jack?
You are a dear! Thanks for doing the research for me. I really appreciate your help. I'll study these and decide which one fits my needs. Thanks again for going the extra mile and for opening up a new way of thinking about securing styli to my iPad.
Hmm, this is the first I've heard of a Bluetooth stylus.. I'll also explore taping the stylus in place. Thanks!
Does the stylus you use NEED an input to the headphone jack to actually work OR is this just a way to have a stylus always attached to your iPad.
BTW, if the headphone jack is just being used as tether anchor point, this is a dumb use for the headphone jack!
Again, I ask, are you a special needs person or someone with a physical challenge?
Wacom and Adonit, the only major players of stylus have "smart" Bluetooth stylii in their lineup.
If you don't care about resting your palm on the device, then you don't really need a "smart", Bluetooth stylus for your iPad.
Most stylii don't use tethers to anything on an iDevice. You can purchase stylii cases. Some you have to carry, other cases or stylus holders attached to the cover, sides or back of the iPad.
Here's Adonit's website.
Wacom's website.
The stylus does not need to be tethered to the iPad to function. It is tethered so that I don't lose it. I'm not a special needs person per se. I use the stylus because repeated tapping all day makes my fingers ache like arthritis. Anything I lay down has the potential to be lost, so my interest is in finding an easy way to keep the stylus close at hand when needed.
