Hi all!
I have been trying to to create a bootable usb to install windows 10 into my windows based computer, but I don't seem to have found a solution. The file was downloaded into my mac and I have an usb with ample space in it. Can someone please instruct me on how I can now with help of my mac create the bootable usb for my windows computer?

You can either try Rufus - https://rufus.akeo.ie/ or WinToUSB - http://www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/ .
You should ask in a Windows community how to create an external bootable Windows installation for a Windows PC. Be aware that Microsoft does not support booting Windows 10 from an external device, unless it is Windows Enterprise version.
Thanks again for your quick response. I have been able to create the usb by using Windows based computer and a tool known as MediaCreation. However, I think you have raised a new issue of concern with respect to Windows and external bootable devices. I paid for this iso version of Wondows 10 as I'm building a new computer without optical medium reader from scratch. I guess it's a legitimate version as I got the passcode, which appears to work. I may have to check with Microsoft.
MediaCreation on a pc did it for me.
