find friends notification sent to wrong device

When I request to be notified of a departure event of a friend, when I receive the notification, it never arrives on the device from which I sent the request.

I do however receive the notification on my iPad and other iphone.

Why am I not receiving the notification on my main device (iPhone 7)?

Can I select which devices receive the notifications?

iPhone 7, iOS 10.3.3

Hi, Steve,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand that the Find My Friends departure notifications seem to be working on all but one of your devices, for at least one person. I'm happy to help!

First, make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID on this iPhone as you are on the other iOS devices. You can do this under Settings > [Your Name]. Your Apple ID will appear at the top of the next page; if it does not match, please sue the Sign Out option at the bottom of the page to sign out of this Apple ID, then sign in with the appropriate one.

If it is the same Apple ID, the next recommendation I have would be for you to restart your iPhone, as detailed here: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . Once the iPhone is back on, test to see if you receive the notification. If not, try signing out and back into the Apple ID (as described above).
