OS 9 and which Virtual PC version question.

If I use OS9 on the G4 , will it run one of the earlier Virtual PC progs ? All I need is something that will open Windows 98 for me ( I have this ) so I can update the sat nav for the car. All the PC 7 versions seem to come with much later window os systems, which I don't really need. I was thinking of PC version 5.

Brian,

VPC v3 and v4 (which had a very short-lived shelf life) came with Windows 98.

VPC v5 and v6 came with a choice, usually Windows 2000

VPC v7 comes with XP, although for these you can buy it without any OS.

If you wish to use VPC in OSX, you'll need v6 or v7, both of which will allow you to create a Windows 98 disk image.
