What if I accidentally delete my emoji keyboard?

From Apple:

If you don't see the emoji keyboard, make sure that the emoji keyboard is turned on.

1. Tap Settings > General > Keyboard.
2. Tap Keyboards.
3. Tap Add New Keyboard.
4. Tap Emoji.

I couldn’t figure it out until when I went to add a new keyboard (follow directions of prior comments). You have to select a “language” - then scroll down to emoji - Apple considers emojis to be a language.

Go on settings>general>keyboard>keyboards>add new keyboard> It should be after Dutch
