I am looking for an app that will allow me to talk to my passenger on the back of my motorcycle. I have a device from N-Com in my helmet which allows bike to bike communication and allows me to communicate with my phone. It would be great to have an app which would just allow phone to phone communication via bluetooth. Does it exist?

I found it. Turns out you just need to search "bluetooth chat" or "walkie talkie" in the app store. There are a number of options though many of them are old and have poor reviews. I found a fairly recent one called "Apport" that is very simple and worked well in my initial test. The only down side is like a walkie talkie, you have to hold down the talk button on the screen to talk, and it then broadcasts to the connected devices (you can connect up to 7). It also works great with my N-Com headset. It has both a wifi mode and a bluetooth mode. Can't wait to try it on the road.
