Hello I am interest in getting the series 3 LTE but I have the iphone SE. Will the iWatch work with the iphone SE? And is the phone pairing is primary to push app? Am I able to download app directly from the watch?
The Apple Watch Series 3 requires an iPhone 6 or later running iOS 11. Which means it will work with an iPhone SE as long as its updated to iOS 11.

Roaming is not available outside your carrier network coverage area. Wireless service plan required for cellular service. Contact your service provider for more details. That's the same thing we all read which sort of begs the question. iPhone SE is later than the iPhone 6 ? I looked at the chips and it seems to be the same chip as the 6. I asked @applesupport and they came back with " compatible with the 5s as long as updated to iOS 11" They are fixated on iOS 11 over there in twitterville ignoring the cellular part of my question. My point is I am ordering the SE because of the Watch series 3 which I also ordered. I was perfectly happy with my 5s until the new watch.
That is all I needed - thank you - have not paid attention to when the SE was released. Wonder why they didn't put the A10 in the SE ? Am not a big iPhone person - rather waiting breathlessly for an updated MacPro computer.

iPhone SE is newer than iPhone 6, so it is compatible with both Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) and Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular).
