Display Size of iPhone X

After watching the keynote on the iPhone X and saw the specs for the phone, I wondered if it was bigger than the iPhone 8 plus. I had seen prototypes and it seemed smaller. So my question is, is the iPhone X (5.8") bigger than the iPhone 8 Plus (5.5")? From the specs it seems that way. Just wanting to check.
