In iPhone7 iOS 11.0.3 just go to iTunes , select your iPhone and look at Settings and click the first option (Résumé) and you will see "Options", check "manually manage music and videos" and finally go to Ringtones to delete the ones you don't want with the key
"Delete".
How about pressing the delete key on the keyboard?
The Mac I sync my phone with is at home. I glanced at things in the new version to make sure I understood where everything was, but had no desire to delete one of my custom tones at the time. Can't check it until this evening.
So what happens if you hi-light the ringtone and hit the delete key?
Thanks for your answer , but it doesn't solve my problem.
When I connect my iPhone to computer , Itunes 12.7 displays my different added ringtones.
But , with Itunes , there is absolutely no solution to remove ringtone from the list.
Maybe shall I wait for the new iOS 11 next week in order to be able to remove ringtones directly from iPhone.
Regards.
When you have hilighted the ringtone you want too delete , there is no possibility to get delete or remove command.
No success with Delete key on the keyboard.
It doesn't matter.
Thanks a lot for your proposals and your time.
I will wait till next week with iOS 11.
Best regards.
Thank you Klaus for your help.
But could you tell me the way in order to find the command "Manually Manage Music and Videos" ?
Regards.
You should be able to do it by plugging the phone into your computer, navigating to the ringtones section on the summary page showing what's on the device, and deleting it from there.
You have to make sure that "Manually Manage Music and Videos" is clicked on. This will allow you to remove any old custom ringtones in IOS 11.
