How do I consolidate multiple files of same songs in my music library?

I have a few songs that were duplicates from different albums I uploaded, and one album I purchased from the ITunes store downloaded the songs 3-4 times each. I would like to consolidate my library so that I only have one copy of each song in my library. Any suggestions?
