Exclude files/libraries from auto backup
wondering how I can tell my iPhone 7 to not backup certain files (iTunes library)?

iTunes Library is not on your iPhone, so it’s not part of your backup. If you mean music files synced from your iTunes Library on your computer, then that is also not part of the backup. Generally, files that can be redownloaded from the App or iTunes Stores are not included.
