LOL. This is a user to user forum. You're not addressing Apple here. The notch which you say is ugly houses a lot of hardware and it's highly unlikely any software update will make the notch look any different. There are sensors, infrared camera, speaker, and a regular camera built into that area. It's not cosmetic. It's hardware and necessary.
