How can I delete ringtones from new iTunes 12.7?

OK, I found a post that solves this problem (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8064957?answerId=32216337022#32216337022)

Apple is really losing their intuitive approach to usability! I personally think this *****.

1. Launch iTunes
2. Click the device button near the top of the screen, looks like this:
3. In the Summary side panel, check the "Manually manage videos" in the Options section
   (Really Apple? What's the connection between ringtones and videos??!!
4. Now you can right-click on a ringtone in the Tones section on the device, and a "Delete from library" option will be added

I had same issue with my Iphone-4s. After checking in details i found the solution on this,

Please go to summary tab after attaching Iphone and then go to option as Manually Manage...

Then click on sync and see ringtones should be deleted.

2nd stage -

If above steps not deleting ringtones from your phone check available i-OS update and if available install.

After this switch off your phone & turn on after 5 minutes, 5 minutes because it takes some time to overwrite some setting on your phone.

I am 100% sure these 2 steps will solve your problem.

And latest i-tunes does not have any bugs before its coming as an update its well tested by Apple Team.

I face the same problem.

I can add now ringtones by dragging them from a finder window into the "Tones" tab in iTunes (see screenshot below).

But if I right click on ringtones in iTunes, there is no "delete" option, only "item info".

I can't understand why Apple is making iTunes more and more difficult to use.

I did that, but whenever I delete a ringtone, it somehow gets added BACK to my iTunes...why isn't it just getting deleted fully? any reason why? I have duplicates of like 7 ringtones and I don't want the duplicates...

If there is a way to delete an unwanted tone off the device without using iTunes 12.6.2 or earlier, I cannot find it. 😕😮

I only get 'item info' not the other two options. I'm using iphone 5C with a macbook pro and itunes 12.7

It ought to work as posted above. If not then short of wiping the phone and reloading I don't know what else to suggest.

As mentioned you need to tell iTunes that the device is manually managed, and apply, then the other options should appear.
